Business column | Wangarang's booming bottle business; new hypnotherapy in Molong

Over the past six months, operations manger Chris Doucas says the local company has increased its output by "500 per cent".

This has been largely due to a growing demand from wineries needing their bottles repackaged.

To keep up with demand, Wangarang has invested in label stripping machines which have turned the task of removing labels from wine bottles from a job that took several days to taking just seconds.

Mr Doucas said the amount of manual work and time the machines saved Wangarang staff was "incredible".

"Sometimes we get about five wineries at the same time deliver all these pallets [of wine which need repackaging]," he said.

"Labels are either old or they're not suitable [because] they need different labels for different countries [with] different languages on it. So they send us the new labels and we put them on.

"Our business, without advertising, has increased by 500 percent.... I think because word has gotten out," Mr Doucas added.

Gerry Aguila is opening Body 'N' Mind At Ease on July 6 and he is hoping the community benefits from the clinical hypnotherapy.

"It helps you to achieve happiness and harmony to all levels of your being," he said.

"A happy you is an addition to the overall happiness of your family, friends, work environment and society generally."

Mr Aguila has lived around the area for two decades and spent the past 12 months preparing for this particular type of therapy.

"I believe I'm going extremely cheap at the moment, and I don't want to undermine the industry, but I want to make it more affordable for people," he said.

"I was unemployed for about a year while I re-trained and I know what it's like with COVID a the moment, so I thought if I make it affordable it's a win win."

The business will be located at 1052 Sandy Creek Road.

Issues he said the hypnotherapy could help include: addiction, anger management, anxiety, attitude improvement, asthma and stress, among other things.
