Alistair Miller at Professionals Orange is the listing agent for 68 Byng Street. He said because of market interest from Sydney-siders, they decided to move the auction for the five bedroom home from July 4 to July 18.
"I had a couple of comments from buyers in speaking to them in follow ups to inspections that it was going to be an inconvenience to them, if not impossible to do a follow up inspection with the restrictions that they had named in certain parts of Sydney," Mr Miller said.
"This is the only one that has moved in the immediate future. We've got auctions coming up in July that we're hoping are going to be able to go ahead and the restrictions will be reduced by that stage. But it leaves the door open to change."
Over at Peter Fisher Real Estate, agent Michael Wright said they haven't changed the dates of any upcoming auctions just yet.
"At this stage people can always get some someone to bid on their behalf, be that over the phone or through facetime and that's not unusual," he said.
"The hard thing may be for people to have that last look at the property, but again, with technology these days I think if people are really interested in the property, then I would hope it's not too much of an impediment for them."
Mr Miller confirmed virtual tours are still popular amongst out-of-towners.
"I think it will continue but we are doing opens at the moment and we'll stay tuned to see whether Gladys ends up deciding to make restrictions outside the Sydney metropolitan area."
