Jacky Lyden's Orange Emus made it two-from-two against their cross town rivals on Saturday as they disposed of Orange City 26-15 in a captivating local derby at Endeavour Oval.

It's only fitting that the two sides would play in a back and forth contest after the nail-biter early in the season, and this contest lived up to the hype.
"I'm incredibly proud of the side that we've got at the moment," Lyden said.
"Half of our team are new players and they're awesome... I can't fault them."
She's stoked to see the way her group has battled through the season, but pointed out the way in which the Lions have gone from strength to strength in recent times.
"I love watching the growth of the young girls at City," she said.
"It's so nice coming up against some of them and that's what we need to do... we need to breed through those young players, that's how the games going to grow."
Emus' victory marked a third for 2021 as they sit just outside the top two, trailing the clear contenders... Dubbo and Bathurst.
As for City, it sits in fourth position on the ladder with 17 competition points.
