The three-day tournament was partway shifted to include the latter ground after last week's unprecedented snow event left Endeavour Oval sodden, with three days of junior rugby posing the real potential of destroying Orange Emus' home grounds.
Working together with Orange City Council a compromise was made though, allowing teams from all over NSW to come together and play-off for the title of state champions.
The hosts, Central West, produced strong performances on day two after a slow start and were left playing off for ninth place on Monday's third and final day, with Penrith and Gordon both qualifying for that afternoon's decider.
With several play-offs yet to be played on Monday afternoon, Central Coast had secured seventh place with Hunter finishing eighth, while Two Blues had locked up 14th with Sydney University finishing 15th.
Warringah had also finished 13th.
