It will be promoting awareness of a progressive brain disorder known as Huntington's Disease.
Central West executive officer for Huntington's Disease Awareness, Rachael Brooking, said they were trying a different way to get the message out after COVID-19 restrictions cut back public events they had previously used.
"I don't think something as big as this has been done in the Central West," she said.
Ms Brooking said the messages would also be carried around by a bus in Bathurst.
She said funds had been raised for the promotion through a Christmas event, raffles and fundraising.
Ms Brooking said they were planning to relaunch the Walk4Hope in Orange on September 18.
She said people would be able to register for the fundraising walk from mid-June on the HD Facebook page.
Ms Brooking said it was likely this year's event would start in Cook Park rather than Robertson Park as had occurred previously.
