"With only about 100 days before the election for the mayor and councillors, we invite all voters to meet with a range of candidates and make informed decisions about who can best represent the community for three years," said Cheryl Pope from the Central West Women's Forum (CWWF).
"We can expect to see campaigning ramp up in the coming weeks and the CWWF is inviting all candidates to act respectfully during their campaign," she added.
The CWWF said it hoped all candidates vying for a council seat would conduct themselves "in good conscience and with care" both during the campaign process and on Council - if they are successful in obtaining a seat.

Other principles the women's forum said they hoped all candidates would adopt included: "informed decision-making", the valuing of diversity "in all its forms", the ability to "call out unacceptable behaviour towards others", and the integrity to prioritise public interest before "any personal, sectorial or partisan interest", while refraining from "exploiting other candidates, their family or supporters".
Previous Meet the Candidates have featured Gerald Power, Josh Girle-Bennett and Melanie McDonnell as well as mayoral candidate Amanda Spalding.
These events gave attendees the "opportunity to hear about their diverse backgrounds and aspirations and how the Orange Residents and Ratepayers Association interact with Council", Ms Pope said.
The next event on Thursday, May 27, will invite Orange City Council candidate Nick Drage to speak and answer questions.
Then on June 10, Steve Peterson and his team will be speak.
All Meet the Candidate events will take place from 5.15pm at The Hive on 25 McNamara Street.
