The Orange woman accomplished just that and more when she made her Suncorp Super Netball debut for Giants Netball in a round two victory against the Collingwood Magpies earlier this month.
Having only been informed of her call up to the bench the morning of the game, she didn't have time to get nervous.
"I called my dad and my mum and got them tickets. I couldn't really comprehend the idea of going on," Miller said.
"I was just so excited to be on the bench and warm up and be in the atmosphere.
"I had played games with the girls during pre-season, so I wasn't too nervous about that aspect because I wasn't expecting to go on at all."
But get on she did after the blood rule forced fellow wing attack Maddie Hay off the court late into the 66-54 victory.
"I really didn't have time to process," she added.
"The crowd was so loud and the atmosphere was so amazing.
"I've never experienced something like that before."
She was delighted to be able to share the magic moment with friends and family, but isn't getting ahead of herself just yet.
When asked if she thinks this will help propel her to a more regular playing role, Miller replied: "This season, probably not.
"Definitely further down the track in seasons to come, I can hopefully get that opportunity.
"It's nice to have a number on my dress now that I've debuted and hopefully that means something to the club as well, but I'll just keep grinding away and hopefully that can pay dividends in the future."
Miller's next chance to make an appearance will be on Sunday when the Giants travel to Melbourne's John Cain Arena to take on the Vixens who have lost all three games so far.
