A man has been charged with drink driving and driving while disqualified on an allegedly stolen mobility scooter.

Central West Police District Chief Inspector Peter Atkins said the man, 28, from the Orange region, was stopped by police on Summer Street at 12.45pm on Saturday.
Chief Inspector Atkins said the man was breath-tested and later charged.
He said the mobility scooter had allegedly been stolen from Sir Neville Howse Place earlier on Saturday morning.
The man is due to appear in Orange Local Court on May 31.
In a separate incident on Friday night police were involved in a pursuit lasting 13 minutes from Orange to the Forest Reefs area.
Chief Inspector Atkins said police terminated the pursuit which started at 11.52pm.
He said they were still seeking the male driver.

However he said an alleged passenger in the car, a 28-year-old Spring Hill woman, was later arrested.
Chief Inspector Atkins said police will allege the disqualified driver was driving a vehicle in Spring Hill.
He said she was charged with driving while disqualified to appear in court at a later date.
