TIPS:
HUMPHREYS: EMUS BY 23
It's been six season since the Lions knocked off Emus, and I'm not brave enough to pick that trend to stop in round four. The men in green have been slowly improving every week, and after a 31-point belting of Dubbo last weekend, it's hard to see a loss coming here.
KRAUSE: EMUS BY 15
Although it's an away game on paper, the Orange derby will be anything but that for Emus who are who we thought they were heading into the season. To say City have been up and down would be an understatement which can't happen against a red-hot Emus side.
DUBBO KANGAROOS versus COWRA EAGLES at NO.1 OVAL
Kick-off: 3.15pm
KANGAROOS: 1 Sam Hunt, 2 Andy Leathem, 3 Edward Williams, 4 Ronan Scott, 5 Hugh O'Leary, 6 Ben Knaggs, 7 Sam Gemmell, 8 Sam Knaggs, 9 Pat Wheatley, 10 Tom Leary, 11 Hamish Gordon (c), 12 John Mafiti, 13 Filisone Pauta, 14 Logan Porch 15 Jake Styles.
Coach: Paul Hausia
EAGLES: 1 Evan Stanbridge, 2 Joe Sullivan, 3 Tom Cummins, 4 Tim Berry, 5 Damo Michaels, 6 Ben Watt, 7 Will Turner, 8 Blake Tidswell, 9 Fergus Carney, 10 Bill Cummins, 11 Jeremy Montgomery, 12 Vilikesa Koilagi, 13 Hayden Cummins, 14 Navitali Bola, 15 Alex Webster.
Coach: Col Kilby
TIPS:
HUMPHREYS: COWRA BY 1
Not a single away side has won this season, but I'm tipping the visitors, here. Cowra has quietly gone about its business since a round one slip-up, winning their last two in impressive fashion. Kangaroos look to welcome back a chunk of players who were missing last week, but the Eagles are in a rhythm.
KRAUSE: DUBBO BY 3
Yes they've lost two out of three. Yes they got pumped by Emus last week and yes they still aren't at full strength, but Dubbo are at home this week and I've got a feeling that will be enough to edge out the Eagles.
BATHURST BULLDOGS versus FORBES PLATYPI at Ann Ashwood Park
Kick-off: 3.15pm
BULLDOGS: 1 Joel Harper, 2 Peter Fitzsimmons, 3 Matt Trapp, 4 Dale Norris, 5 Zach Taylor, 6 Sam Maher 7 Tom Natoli, 8 Tom Felsch, 9 Will Oldham, 10 Scott Johnston, 11 Harry Webber, 12 Hunter Davies, 13 Sione Naufahu, 14 Adam Plummer, 15 Josh Weekes.
COACH: Leslie M Berg
PLATYPI: 1, Charlie French, 2 Will Nash, 3 Nick Guise, 4 Brenton Howarth, 5 Andrew Hubbard, 6. Tom Menzies, 7 Tim Prior, 8 Rusi Lawanikula, 9 Miniti Tonga, 10 Mahe Fangupo, 11 Tom Maguire, 12 Andrew Saar, 13 Jack Hammond, 14 John Monk, 15 Daniel Sweeney.
COACH: Heamani Lavaka
TIPS:
HUMPHREYS: BULLDOGS BY 10
Hard to see a perrenial contender like Bulldogs losing three on-the-bounce... I'll leave it at that.
KRAUSE: BULLDOGS BY 10
Forbes pulled off a spectacular comeback last week over the Lions, but a trip down to Bathurst might just be too hard for the travelling team. A reminder that coming into round 4, not a single visiting side has one a game, and I can't see two happening in the one week.
TIPS TALLY:
KRAUSE: 5/9
HUMPHREYS: 6/9
