It wasn't an easy game though, the CYMS side was heavy set and solid, but it was Hobby's use of speed with Aiden Nunn, Dylan Marmion, Alex Hanrahan and Aden Prosper tearing holes in the CYMS defence that made a massive difference in the early stage of the match.
Marmion was the first to bring the smiles when he crossed the line in the first 10 minutes of play, followed soon after on the other side of the field by winger Alex Hanrahan.

CYMS, frustrated by their basic mistakes, acknowledged at the try-line that the Bears were playing really well, just not using that language.
Blayney's defence was cracking too.
The discipline in defence was solid and effective, holding a heavy CYMS attack back is never easy, but there wasn't an ankle that went flying by that wasn't tapped and the stumbling CYMS player brought down.

After the game Blayney forward Ryley Oborn was stoked to say the least.
"It was good to finally get back on the winning side in Bear's colours," Oborn said.
"I think that's our first win in reserve grade since 2016 so it was obviously a good day for the club with plenty of emotion flying around.
"The boys played really well all across the park with plenty of improvement still to be made which is a good sign.
"Our defence definitely won us the game, we were defending our line for a very long period of the game and the boys never gave up."
The Bears will be playing Cowra at Sid Kallas Oval on Sunday May 2 at 1.30.
