Jack and Ryan have been crucial cogs in Tahs' midfield for many seasons, and like any siblings, they get a kick out of competing against each other.
Last Saturday during Tahs' 8-5 win over Macquarie United, Ryan was arguably the best player on the paddock, but when the sky blues welcome Lithgow to town on Saturday, Jack hopes to put his big brother in his place.
"I don't like to admit it but he went pretty well last week," Jack said.
"I didn't get much of the ball so hopefully I can do a bit more this time around."
As fun as a battle against your brother can be, both Sinclair boys know the team's defence needs to improve in round three.
"We were a bit disappointed to let in five goals," he said.
"We don't want to be letting that many in. At training we focused on working together defensively and shutting down the ball at the back."
As for their round three opponents, Waratahs FC pasted Lithgow 5-0 in the pre-season, but Jack knows that's not a fair indication of their talent.
"They're a much better side than that and we won't be taking them lightly," he said.
"They're pretty fiery, too. There were a dozen yellow cards in their game against Parkes last week. We're going to have to start well."
Adam Scimone's men enjoy a stand of six consecutive home games to start off the season and Jack knows his troops must make the most of it.
"We need to get these wins on the board early while we're at home," he said.
"Hopefully we've got some momentum in the second half of the season when we play away from home."
Waratahs will line-up in a 4-4-2 formation with Jack playing centre mid and Ryan in the right mid spot.
"Ryan can't handle the middle, mate... he's too unfit."
Kick-off is 4.45pm.
