Saturday saw another bucket-load of games played, with more than a few interesting results to come from them.
In A/B grade, Waratah Athletic defeated Millthorpe (4-1), Waratah Wolfpack took down Blayney B (4-2) and Cowra held firm at home against Barnies United B (5-3). This makes the trio the only clubs in the top flight to have won both of their games.
Other results from that division included an 8-0 thrashing of Canobolas B by CYMS, a decisive 5-0 win by Saints FC over Barnies Beyond Blue and Waratah United taking care of Barnies United A 3-0.
In C grade there were a few closer results, with some blowouts sprinkled in.
Of the former, CYMS-WSBG and Ex-Services FC played out a 3-3 draw while Waratah O35s narrowly defeated Blayney C 3-2.
But not all matches could be as close as those.
Barnies YADS had the seemingly tough task of travelling to Edgell Park in Cowra, but made it look easy as they took down the home side 5-0.
Closer to home at Jack Brabgam, CYMS - ORE defeated Millthorpe 5-1.
In the 4th division just two games were played. Each victor put in a dominant performance, even if the scoreboard didn't necessarily show it for one title favourite.
Coming off a 6-0 defeat to Cudal the week before, Barnies Brighouse took on the Waratah Blues Open Women side and turned things around to the tune of 10-2.
The other game was between competition favourite Cudal and Waratah FC who were playing their first game of the season.
Cudal got off to a strong start against the youthful Waratah team and could have easily had an early lead if not for a few good saves by the home side's keeper.
Waratah slowly got themselves back into the game before both teams went into the break scoreless.
After half-time, Cudal picked up steam and never let up.
It took until the final ten minutes for the visitors to break through, but they managed to bag two in quick succession to claim the three points.
