People with vision, drive and experience, who are knowledgeable about business and economic strengths and opportunities for the region, are encouraged to apply.
RDA Central West chairwoman Ruth Fagan said RDA committees play an important role in driving regional economic development.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to join a national network of local people developing local solutions to local issues," Mrs Fagan said.
"We are seeking highly motivated local leaders with strong ties to the Central West and whose skills and networks will enable collaboration between business, industry and all levels of government.
"Together, we will work towards our goal of driving investment, local procurement and jobs and improve regional policy making by providing intelligence and evidence based advice to the Australian government on regional development issues."
The RDA Central West region comprises the 11 local government areas of Bathurst, Blayney, Cabonne, Cowra, Forbes, Lachlan, Lithgow, Oberon, Orange, Parkes and Weddin.
Applications close 5pm Friday, April 23. The term will be for a two year period from July 1, 2021.
Applicant information packs and forms can be found on the RDA Central West website at www.rdacentralwest.org.au/about-us/committee-applications.
