With a wide range of hands-on workshops planned across Orange Regional Museum, Orange Regional Gallery, Orange City Library and Orange Youth Hub, there is sure to be something to keep the kids entertained.
The museum and gallery have joined forces to host a series of activities linked to the Pollinators exhibition, which is on show at the museum until May 9.

Children can discover the power of pollinators and the role they play in our environment, while getting to know some of our local plants and pollinating animals.
John Daly is the museum's exhibition co-ordinator and said it would be great to see people enjoying the activities.
"There are all sorts of fund things to do and it's important to learn about our local native pollinators," he said.
"It's about learning how the city functions, how our environment functions and why we have to maintain that environmental health going into the future."
The workshops are:
- April 6 - Design and build your own insect hotel. Children will learn about pollinating insects and how they can support them by providing shelter and nesting materials. Cost $20.
- April 7 - Botanical drawing. Dissect and inspect native flowers, examine their structure and document them in a series of illustrations. Cost $20.
- April 8 - Use mixed media to draw birds, bats, bees and beetles. Use reference images and your imagination to draw creatures before adding colour and detail using ink, crayon and collage. Cost $20.
- April 13 - Make native seed bombs. These little packages of seeds, clay and soil can be thrown into hard-to-reach places where they will sit until conditions are right for them to spring into action, providing food and habitat for local pollinators. Free.
- April 14 - Design and build a rubber-band-powered butterfly. Learn how to identify local pollinating butterflies by their distinctive colours and patterns and use them as inspiration for your design. Cost $20.
The library will hold two free 'Science in the Kitchen' workshops, on April 7 and April 12.
Children keen to get their hands dirty can come along and plant a winter vegetable garden at the library on Thursday 8 April, or they can learn how to make their own stop-motion Claymation movie at a Toonworld Workshop on Tuesday, April 13.
Lego enthusiasts can play with the library's huge Lego collection and use their imagination to build Lego creations on Wednesday, April 14 and Thursday, April 15. All the library activities are free to attend.
The Youth Hub will offer crazy science experiments at a mad science workshop on Thursday, April 8, or bring a friend and enjoy pool competitions on April 7 and April 14.
Love your TikTok? Young people can bring their friends to the Youth Hub for an afternoon of TikTok challenges and pizza on April 13.
The Youth Hub will also be open for young people to drop in from 11am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, during the school holidays, except public holidays. All Youth Hub activities are free to attend and QR sign-in is required.
