A random act of kindness has warmed the hearts of Rachel Boersma and Mick Lamers.

The pair went into the Kingmen Hair to get Mr Lamers - who is in a wheelchair - a head shave the other day.
They said the care he received went above and beyond.
"I'm a hairdresser and a shave to me is a five minute job," Ms Boersma, who is Mr Lamers' carer said.
"But this guy pampered him and stuff like that. Then when we went to leave, Mick asked him how much and he said it was on Kingsman. Mick insisted on paying and they were like 'honestly, nothing'."
Although some might assume the free trim was because Mr Lamers is in a wheelchair, she didn't see it that way.
"I don't think he got it because he was in a wheelchair at all," Ms Boersma said.
"This guy just was just so genuine about it."
Mr Lamers agreed.

"I've copped it before when people think the only reason you get this or you get that is because you're in a wheelchair and they feel sorry for you, but I honestly don't think it was for that reason," he said.
"You see on Facebook all the time people bagging businesses out for stuff they've done wrong, so I thought it was worth to put something up when someone's done a good thing."
