Three people, including two young children, were all taken to Orange Hospital after a car hit a tree at Mullion Creek on Thursday morning, with the two-year-old airlifted to Sydney following the crash.

No condition updates were available however it was confirmed the young child was taken from Orange Hospital to Westmead Children's Hospital.

Emergency services responded to the incident at 1am where they discovered the car had left the road while negotiating a bend, had hit a sign and then a tree, near the Kent Road intersection of Burrendong Way.
The driver of the vehicle, a 30-year-old woman, was left trapped as a result of the crash with Fire and Rescue NSW officers required to cut away the side of the vehicle to free her.
Both children were able to be freed from the vehicle, before all three were transported to Orange Hospital.
Officers attached to Central West Police District attended and established a crime scene.
Police are investigating the incident.
