The organiser of the clean up at the Warrendine Street skate park, Nick King, said he was pleased to see youngsters who used the facility and their parents join in the clean up.
Mr King, the Environmentally Concerned Citizens of Orange secretary, said about 20 people attended the site.

"They were obviously dads and kids, skate park users," he said.
"This is the first time [we had] people who use the skate park. They said they were concerned about the condition of the park. The kids were fantastic, they worked really hard."
Mr King said they collected about 15 bags of rubbish.
"We completely cleared the site of the litter."
He said the rubbish included bike frames, bicycle wheels and helmets.
At the Elephant Park site more helpers assisted in cleaning the area.
A further clean up was organised for Clifton Grove.
