Supported by the NSW Government's Arts Restart funds, the funding is designed to assist individuals and organisations in the Central West "restart" an art project or activity.
There are two types of grants on offer, from a total pool of $24,000: grants of up to $1000 for individuals, groups, arts businesses, councils, and grants of up to $2000 for community activities.
The Micro Grants were created in 2020 in response to the impact of Covid-19 on the arts industry and saw 23 artists and art organisations receive the small grants (at a total of just over $21,000).
The turnaround time-frame is quick in terms of assessment.
Applications close 5pm on March 22. Activities supported by the funding must be completed by May 31. Head to the Arts OutWest website to apply.
