Jessica Moad, 28, of Baker Street, Spring Hill was stopped by police in Dalton Street on October 22, 2020.
Police saw her and conducted a u-turn to stop her. A check revealed she was also told about the expiration when police stopped on October 6, 2020.
Moad was disqualified from driving for three months and was convicted with no further action.
In another matter, a man who knew he had a licence suspension pending but didn't check when it came into play has been convicted in Orange Local Court.
Kelvin Leslie Clarke, 24, of Wentworth Lane, was driving along Summer Street at 11.30pm on January 1, 2021, when he was stopped by police for a random breath test near the Sale Street intersection.
When police spoke to him about his licence status he said, "I know I have a suspension coming up".
However, a police check revealed his licence was already suspended from December 29, 2020, until March 28, 2021.
When told it had already begun he said, "f***, I should have checked".
Clarke appeared before magistrate Robert Williams in Orange Local Court on Monday.
Mr Williams fined him $450 and disqualified him from driving for five months.
Solicitor Gerry Stapleton said Clarke had driven from Coffs Harbour to Orange before he was stopped by police. He said Clarke was an itinerant worker and the car has since been disposed of.
"He tells me he has no particular need for a driver's licence," Mr Stapleton said.
