The Warriors have won back-to-back Bathurst Orange Inter District titles and are always threatening to take out the T20 Royal Hotel Cup premiership.
But on Friday at Wade Park, Ed Morrish's men will be outsiders in their Bonnor Cup grand-final qualifier.
City welcomes St Pat's Old Boys to town as they have been absolutely carving it up in the short format and will look to continue their tear.
Skipper Ed Morrish won't deny his side isn't expected to win as he's touted St Pat's Old Boys as a class act all season.
"They're heavy favourites if you ask me," he said.
"It is what it is... they haven't lost a game all year so no matter what format it's in, they're going to be favourites."
Plenty has been made of a small slide suffered by the reigning BOIDC champions and even though it's been in a different format, it's still a key factor.
The chat about St Pat's Old Boys in the first-grade ranks has been about its bowling attack but Morrish addressed the elephant in the room right off the bat, highlighting Nic Broes as the clear threat for the away side.
"He's a classy cricketer," he said.
"If you can get him out early then you're a chance but if you can't, it becomes pretty hard. He's got a lot of confidence."
The Wade Park pitch, combined with the form of St Pat's, has Morrish marking the par score on Friday night somewhere around 150-160.
"Anything below that won't be good enough," he said.
City might not be in peak form but Morrish knows they're more than capable of scoring that total, and it simply comes down to confidence.
"We just need to back ourselves," he said.
"We've played with injuries over the years but collectively, we've been able to find a way past it.
"Obviously a few blokes haven't been in great nick but we're comfortable in situations like this."
Blake Weymouth has come close to peak form since the turn of the new year and will be one to keep an eye on if Orange City is to go on with the upset.
"He's definitely a really important cog in our team," he said.
The winner of Friday night's tilt showdown will move on to play either Rugby Union or CYMS as both of those sides are set to square off next week for a spot in the finale.
That game will be played on February 19.
