The card is a $250 prepaid VISA card designed to assist eligible seniors in rural, regional and remote areas of NSW to offset the cost of essential travel expenses.
During the first year of the trial in 2020, 3,978 seniors across Orange and 1,361 in Cabonne successfully applied for a card, providing $1,334,750 worth of value.

Eligible seniors have until November 30 of this year to apply for a card and can be used for pre-booked NSW Trainlink Regional trains and coaches, fuel and taxis.
Applications are made online at www.service.nsw.gov.au, by calling 13 77 88 or by visiting a Service NSW Service Centre.
