The 30-year-old Orange man is not named to protect the identity of the victims.
According to information that was tended to the court, the man phoned his then partner, who he did not live with, at 4am on September 3, 2020.
"I'm coming over to sort it out, I want to out the front. I'm going to strangle you and pull on your hair and I'll swing you around," he was quoted as saying to her.
The victim's father overheard the conversation and the man arrived at her house at 4.22am and grabbed hold of the locked security door with both hands and pushed it back and forth while yelling at the victim.
Due to the force, the man pulled the security mesh out from the door frame on one side. He continued yelling and also damaged an archway in the garden.
Magistrate David Day gave the man a seven-month jail sentence with a four-month non-parole period for attempting to intimidate the woman. For damaging the door and arch, he also gave the man two 12-month community correction orders with requirements he abstain from alcohol and drugs.
"The offending is aggravated by [his] lengthy criminal history," Mr Day said.
He said the man was previously given a jail sentence of three years and nine months for wounding a police officer while they were executing their duty
On Wednesday, Mr Day also gave the man a nine-month jail sentence with a six-month non-parole period until June 30 for intimidating another woman and contravening an apprehended domestic violence order.
The man made dozens of calls to her between 2pm and 11pm on September 4, 2019.
When the victim picked up one of the calls he said, "I'm going to burn your car, I'm going to burn you house and everything you own".
He then continued to ring the victim who received more than 40 calls from 8.30pm and he left 15 audio messages between 10.25pm and 11.30pm in which he continued to abuse and threaten her.
The man was also given a two-year CCO for stabbing two tyres on a car belonging to the woman at 8.20pm on May 7, 2019. According to police, the tyres deflated after he stabbed them with a steak knife and children were present.
At the time of the offending, the man was subject to a CCO for damaging a flat screen TV in 2018. Mr Day revoked the CCO but confirmed the conviction and resentenced him to a three months in jail.
"Community safety is of paramount concern, it cannot be served without making sure he's served some time in custody," Mr Day said.
