Police are appealing for information after a fatal stabbing south-east of Dubbo earlier on Sunday.

About 7am on Sunday, emergency services were called to William Street, Wellington, following reports of a physical altercation involving several people outside a home, police said.
Shortly after, a 24-year-old man presented at Wellington Hospital with stab wounds to his stomach and neck.
He was transferred to Dubbo Hospital, where he died on Sunday afternoon.
Officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District attended and established crime scenes.
Police have arrested a man and taken him to Dubbo Police Station, where he is assisting with inquiries.
Detectives have established Strike Force Larelar to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
As inquiries continue, police are urging anyone with dashcam vision of CCTV from around the area to come forward.
