As in previous years, January 26 festivities will take place at Cook Park with the Citizen of the Year Awards, Citizenship Ceremony and a market fair full of local arts, crafts and produce.
With the event just over six weeks away, Orange City Council is encouraging business owners to consider setting up a stall on the day by filling out a form online and returning it to council.
Mayor Reg Kidd said that state COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted to the point where a celebration could go ahead, as close to normal, as possible.
"We'll have performances and live music and plenty of food stalls so bring a picnic rug, set up with the family and enjoy a great morning out," he said.
"We've all had a very tough year and we're looking forward to a much brighter 2021."
The event will run from 8am to 1pm on January 26. Visitors are asked to maintain social distancing, enter from Summer Street and use hand sanitiser provided.
