It was only 11am, but clearly the people were in the mood for the Bathurst baker's pies and pastries, and latecomers risked disappointment.
Still, there was so much food on offer at Saturday's busy Farmers Market that a hungry belly would have had no problems filling up: pandan and coconut buns, high tea, samosas, spring rolls, home made lemonade, espresso, apples, strawberries, doughnuts, iced biscuits.

And the small-batch condiments and grog: relish, oil, cider, beer, wine, vodka, jam, paste, chutney.
A long queue waited patiently for coffee or a Trunkey bacon and egg roll.
Mr Luhovy said the secret to premium pastry is quality butter, a good roller and keeping the pastry cold.
Phe Viljoen from Millthorpe was at the market with her daughter Poppy and ridgeback Baraka, and had loaded up on apples, cherries and strawberries.
"We've met my sisters for a lovely day of shopping, tasting food, having a coffee and a juice. It's been a really convivial atmosphere and a nice Christmas vibe."
As Baraka made friends with another pooch, Mrs Viljoen joked that there were probably more dogs than people: "It's a great day out for the canines."
