Logan Powell, 23, of Torulosa Way, was the only occupant in his vehicle when he was driving south along Burrendong Way about 10pm on March 7.
When he was about three kilometres north of Euchareena he drove off the road and up an embankment on the side of the road causing the car to roll several times.
The vehicle came to a stop on its roof in the embankment about 80 metres from the initial point of impact.
Police arrived at the scene a short time later and spoke to Powell outside the vehicle.
According to a summary of events that was tended to Orange Local Court, alcohol was smelt on his breath.
Powell was transported to Orange Hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash.
A blood sample was also taken at the hospital and returned a mid-range reading of 0.127. Police checks also revealed Powell was disqualified from driving.
Magistrate David DAy convicted Powell and fined him $550, placed him on a 12-month community correction order, disqualified his driver's licence for three months and placed him on a two-year interlock order for mid-range drink-driving.
Mr Day also fined him $550 and give him a six-month licence disqualification for driving while disqualified. He said he could be jailed if he keeps driving while disqualified.
"This is a serious matter being a second offence," Mr Day said.
"It would appear Mr Powell has been drinking a bit too much for a bit too long."
