Orange police were called at around midday on Monday following reports of the crash on the Mitchell Highway, near the junction of Phoenix Mine Road in Lucknow.
Crews from the NSW Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
A spokesman from the Central West Police District said a 60-year-old female was injured in the crash.
"The injury to her arm was tended to by the ambulance service."
The police were not able to specify if the woman was a driver or a passenger.
The spokesman added that traffic is still getting through the major road that leads in and out of Orange.
It is still not known if anyone has been arrested as a result of the crash.
