They will take on Orange City at Wade Park and Molong captain Will Oldham believes they are in with a real chance after not taking part in the Twenty20 competition for five years.
"It has been a few years since we've been in it and I think it's a good thing for the region as a whole," Oldham said.
"We've picked a side that we think are going to be competitive."
That side will feature four fresh faces from Molong's round one clash with Bathurst, with bowlers Jamie Austin and Nicholas Traves out, as well as middle-order bats James Millner and Brett Wykes.
As it stands, Orange are tied on points at the top of the three-team group, leading Bathurst only on net run rate.

But a win for Molong will mean all three sides will finish tied on two points each.
That is why it's important for Molong not just to win, but win big, as they will need to jump at least one of Bathurst and Orange in the standings.
"We're just a bunch of country blokes, so we've not done any calculations about the run rate," Oldham said.
"We did talk about needing a convincing win though. We struggled last game for runs, so we'll need some blokes to score a few this time."
In Molong's match a month ago, they managed to bowl Bathurst out for 128, with Damien Hayes the big wicket-taker, finishing with figures of 4-34 off his four overs.
But a lack of a big partnership left them 22 runs short of victory in the chase.
As for Orange's first round clash, it was a comprehensive win against Bathurst, restricting them to 81 off their 20, before chasing it down in the 17th over.
But Molong aren't letting the pressure of a do-or-die game get to them.
"It's just cruisy, pretty easy for us," Oldham said.
"We go out there and of course we want to win, but we just want to be competitive.
"I think the boys just want to feel their way through and if we get through to the next round, then we get through."
Newcomers to Molong's lineup will include left arm bowler Pat Tree and top order batsman Andrew Henry.
The full team to take on Orange City includes: Pat Tree, Will Oldham, Craig Carpenter, Lachlan O'Keefe, Tom Ferson, Andrew Henry, Jake Evans, Steve Fairley, Peter Gott, John Mulhall, Damien Hayes and Andrew Heath.
