In a normal year, you would expect a very long walk from the car park to the track, a long line at the gate, and then plenty of ducking and weaving to get through the crowds.
But that was far from the case in 2020.
Among the limited fans at the Mount were Sean Graves and Tyarna Esposito.
The couple travelled from the Central Coast and stayed at the NRMA Bathurst Panorama Holiday Park.
They enjoyed the race action from Murrays Corner and were glad to have the opportunity.
"It's cool to get a ticket when they've cut down the number of tickets and to get to have a seat to watch from," Mr Graves said.
In addition to visiting the Mount, the couple also patronised businesses, including having dinner at The Church Bar on Friday.
Also in Bathurst for the race were Goulburn mates Tim Conquest and Shannon Bice, who made the pilgrimage to be on the Mount for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the event.
Mr Conquest said it was a seven-year tradition and he was happy to have been able to secure tickets.
"[We're] keeping the streak alive," he said.
Despite being best mates, they cheered on opposing manufacturers.
Mr Bice is a Ford fan and hoped to see any one of the eight Mustangs claim the Peter Brock Trophy, while Mr Conquest, a Triple Eight supporter, wanted the #888 Holden of to win.
