Pineapple socks. That's where the form change started for Jason Hurford. By his own admission, the golfer wasn't having a good run in qualifiers for the Wentworth Club Championships.

Once his sons gifted him some special socks on Father's Day - the first day of match play against two-time winner Craig Coles - his form turned around.
He's since beaten multiple championships winner Jordan Clark to progress to the final against his good mate Steve Bray. All without actually qualifying for A grade.
With low numbers for 2020 play-offs, Wentworth offered other players the chance to fill A-grade spots in the knockout tournament, an opportunity Hurford jumped at.
"I didn't play real good in qualifying and they couldn't fill A-grade spots so I thought 'why not?' and here we are," he said.
"It was a bit unexpected but I've found a bit of form and it's good, I'm excited."
He said "I'd have been paying huge odds" at the start of the championships, but said he was feeling "pretty positive".
"I've got to hit fairways, if I hit most fairways and some greens I should be able to do well," he said.
"I'm friends with Steve and have known him for a long time, so it's just another game."
As for the socks?
"I wore the socks that day and I've been wearing them every Sunday. They've got big pineapples all over them. They'll be getting a run this weekend," he Hurford said.
It's been a secret weapon - "no-one's ever seen them", he said.
"They might come out this weekend as we might have shorts on."
Play begins at 7.30am on Sunday.
