Cardinals will host an open day on Sunday October 11 where prospective players are encouraged to roll up to Jack Brabham Oval to learn more about the sport and put their names down for the looming season.
"Whether you're a kid or an adult, we'd like people to come down and learn some things about tee ball and softball," Robertson said.
"We like to consider ourselves a family-oriented club where people can enjoy a hit and have a laugh.
"It's good exercise for kids... if you can swing a hockey stick or a tennis racket, you'll have no dramas hitting a softball."
The open day will commence at 9am and run until 11am at Jack Brabham, the same spot that hosts the weekly fixtures on Saturday over the summer. The club wishes to acknowledge the Town Square Motel for their sponsorship help.
