Maria Smith, 31, of Mertin Street, Bourke, was admitted into the legal room at the police station to meet with a man whose property was confiscated after he was arrested on outstanding warrants.
According to police the woman requested to speak with the man about 12.55pm on July 31 and she was permitted entry into the visitor section of the legal room, which is for solicitors and visitors to meet with people in custody.

The visitors and prisoner are separated by a perspex window with a mesh insert so they can speak to each other.
While the man blocking the CCTV camera view, police said Smith used a cigarette lighter to heat the bottom corner of the perspex and used an unknown object to poke a hole in it.
She then passed hand-rolled cigarettes through the hole to the man.
A senior constable saw their suspicious behaviour on live CCTV footage. At 1.55pm the police officer entered the legal room and saw the hole in the perspex.
The prisoner was searched and two cigarettes were found.
Smith was arrested when police stopped the car she was driving on the Northern Distributor Road at 5pm the same day.
Solicitor Charlotte Pascall said Smith was intoxicated by prescription medication when she visited the man but she is now being treated.
Smith was given a 12-month community correction order and will have to abstain from drugs.
