With the increase in rates due any time now the council should be spending money helping business increase their turnover by a factor of 10.
This can be done by employing astute business people. It is not rocket science.
This needs to be done now.
Later mayor Reg Kidd can put in place diagonal pedestrian crossings all the way down Summer Street.
The space behind the Post Office and Post Office Lane should be used for tiny shops to operate from on weekends and public holidays, paying a very low rent and servicing a different clientele other than mainstream.
There is still more seating required in the Orange CBD.
Orange council should turn the seats in buses around and sell advertising on the back wall of the bus. Particularly weekly specials at supermarkets.
Orange council urgently needs people who understand business, commerce and economics. At least employ people who have experience, running a business.
When is council going to finish their 'trip pity do dar' project along Summer Street? Council workers seem to me to be forever doing the same project and never ever finishing the project.
Council should issue a license to a business to purchase spent cooking oil from local shops and filter the oil and then sell the oil as fuel. That will give diesel some competition, sure up supply and the price may come down.
Public gas showers should be built by private enterprise in Orange to service the mobile home trade and provide biosecurity for our community against the 20 deadliest diseases known to man.
People with COVID 19 are still allowed back into the country. There is still a lot to do.
We still need soap in all public toilets mayor Kidd. Isn't it a pandemic requirement?
Is it a democracy or a republic? I was not sure on the exemptions. Do some parks have exemptions?
