A 28-year-old woman has been flown to Wentworth hospital in Sydney with a serious head injury after the crash, which occurred just after 8.30am.
An Ambulance NSW spokesperson said she'd been taken across the mountains after being taken to Orange hospital by road.
The incident happened on The Escort Way, just west of Borenore.
Rural Fire Service Canobolas Zone operations manager Brett Bowden said the Rural Fire Service had also been called to the job, with the woman trapped for a "period of time".
She was the only occupant in the car.
