Tom Tudor and Kaitlyn Hinrichsen are set to take on a Triathlon NSW camp in October

Tom Tudor will be cooking food and cleaning dishes.

The young-gun Orange triathlete, alongside fellow Piranha Kaitlyn Hinrichsen, has been named in the Triathlon NSW Emerging Talent Squad for the second year in a row.

The idea behind the camp is to set the athletes up for life as professionals and Tudor has already seen the lessons transfer over to his daily training regime.

"It's something that helps me stay calm and relax when I go away to race," Tudor said.

"Everyone expects you to have a good fitness base but it's the little things that are important.

"You get to go there and learn from the older and more accomplished athletes."

They're both Piranhas competitors and after a summer topping the regional triathlon charts, both Tudor and Hinrichsen have had to dial it back a notch while competitions are few and far between.

"We can't do much at the moment so I've just been ticking away with training," he said. "I'm trying to be as prepared as possible for when events start again."

And while it's been a quite winter for the duo, things are set to heat up again in October as the Central West Inter-Club series will kick off next month.

The Piranhas have enjoyed a dominant decade of regional results and will look to lean on Tudor and Hinrichsen - as well as the dynamic Connor Whitely - for more success in 2020-21 and beyond.
