Megan Goodwin and Phil Tudor each received their life memberships at the end of July.
Goodwin's been in Orange since 1988 but didn't decide to join the club until 2012 and after falling in love with the culture and lifestyle, wished she joined decades earlier.
"It's just a really family-friendly environment," Goodwin said.
"Everyone's so supportive and encouraging whether you're new to the club or been there for ages.
"I initially just got involved to do a bit of running. I did the City2Surf in September 2012 and just joined after that."
This year marks Goodwin's seventh as treasurer and while she's been around for almost a decade, she's honoured to receive an award alongside club president Tudor - someone she describes as a "long-term stalwart of the club".
"It's humbling to be a life member at the same time as Phil," she said.
"He was around way before I was involved at the club. He does all our race coordination and he's the race director as well."
Tudor's tenure stretches 13 years and the club recently put out a statement, praising him for his commitment and character.
"Phil has been an outstanding contributor to our club and a valued member of the broader Orange community," it said.
"Phil is an all round good bloke who has lived Orange triathlon for many years.
"He gets things done and has been very generous to the club. Similar to Megan, Phil wears many hats and is involved in many aspects of club life."
Tudor's extensive service to the club earned him the fourth life membership in the club's history.
While the virus has had an impact on training and racing for all triathlon clubs throughout the region, Goodwin was hopeful things begin to ease when the inter-club season kicks off.
"Our season got cut a little short at the end of last season but we're trying to do our best to keep each other motivated," she said.
"A lot of work's been put into the new course at Gosling Creek and that's really exciting ... it's become really user friendly."
The inter-club competition is still slated to get underway in September.
