Dotted Eight Studio owner Craig Honeysett said straight from the live voice to the microphone, Mr Ajak was already amazing.
"He was so prepared with his single and I was over the moon to help record it," he said.
"It took three hours to record his part and then another two hours to record James Buchanan's guitar and Quinn Luxford's bass elements and then another four to five hours to edit and mix it together."
Mr Honeysett said he loves the song and will be recording more music with Mr Ajak and his band in the near future.
"We have received a lot of great feedback on social media and he recently sent some of demos," he said.
"The song we recorded sounds great, from the verse to the chorus to the bridge, he is really good in songwriting."
Mr Ajak said he wrote Perfect to Me when he was in year 9 and was inspired by Shakespeare.
"When we were reading Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet in school, it got me thinking about the musical journey for this song," he said.
"I've written a lot of songs since then but you don't know what will stand out and what the people will like.
"We recorded the song in May during COVID and split the recording sessions into two, one with Craig and myself and the other with Quinn, James and Craig."
Mr Ajak also said he has had a lot of friends and fans tag him on Instagram with the song and the support has been great.
"I had someone tell me that they cried when they listened to this song and that's not what I intended but you feel what you feel," he said.
