Many people were desperate to find out which restaurant had not completed a COVID-19 Safety Plan and in not doing so had not prioritised the health of both their staff and customers.
While an investigation is underway, the identity of this venue will remain private, but it's a timely reminder to all that the police take breaches of this legislation very seriously.
All eateries must ensure that rules on social distancing, hygiene and cleaning, and record keeping, are adhered to.
We all want to support out favourite restaurants, pubs and cafes, and we know those who are still open to customers have worked hard to keep their businesses afloat.
However we need to know that those businesses we continue to support have our best interests at heart.
As customers we too must do the right thing and not arrive at venues in larger parties than we have booked, we must ensure we keep appropriate distances when dining, we must maintain good hygiene and we must ensure we are diligent in writing down our contact phone numbers.
If we all do the right thing we've all got a better chance of surviving this pandemic.
