Emergency services received a triple-0 call at 6.30pm on Tuesday following reports that a caravan was on fire at a property on Sampson Street.
Fire and Rescue NSW Orange Station Officer Andrew Henderson said the caravan was "fully involved" in fire when crews arrived on scene.
"We had three trucks attend and had it extinguished within about five minutes," he said.
"It was only a small caravan but it was totally destroyed."
Station Officer Henderson said firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the caravan and it did not damage any nearby property.
"Police attended and they blocked off the street for firefighter safety," he said.
Station Officer Henderson said the cause of the blaze was undetermined by firefighters and the incident was now under investigation by police.
The caravan was unoccupied and being stored on the property at the time of the fire.
