We washed close to 1800-1900 glasses yesterday.
- James Robson, Ross Hill Wines
Ross Hill Wines owner James Robson said they were booked out on the weekend with only few vacant spots on Monday.
"We had one of the best cellar door days yesterday," he said on Sunday.
"We've been booked out for days."
He said they could handle 50 customers at a time as they had a large cellar door.
Mr Robson said they had increased staff numbers to handle the demand and the unique trading restrictions for social distancing of customers and cleaning.
"Normally we have six or seven staff. We had 12 working yesterday. We have to change every glass over. We washed close to 1800-1900 glasses yesterday."
Mr Robson said many customers had come for Sydney with others from Canberra, the Blue Mountains and the local area.
"All the people were really nice. Everyone is so glad to be out," he said.
"They're so excited to come out here."
Philip Shaw Wines were also booked out on Saturday and Sunday for tastings with a few times available on Monday.
Nashdale Lane Wines were also booked out and busy with customers.
One form of social distancing involved a large table normally able to seat 10 people restricted to six customers.
