Desiree Jade Morris, 30, of the Mitchell Highway, had a prior driving offence on her record when she was stopped by police on February 15.
Traffic and Highway Patrol police were in Prince Street when they saw a car turn into Clinton Street at 10.45am and stopped it for a random breath test.
Checks revealed Morris's driver's licence was suspended due to a loss of demerit points and she had been previously stopped and notified of the suspension by police.
Morris did not appear in court and she was fined $220 in her absence and her licence was disqualified for a further six months.
