Businesses will be able to get online support through a free Ask the Accountant webinar this week.
Regional Development Australia Central West is partnering with Orange-based accounting and professional services firm, pmwPlus, to provide small and medium businesses with information and advice to help navigate this time.
RDA Central West CEO Sam Harma said businesses have faced ongoing challenges throughout this period and while there is help available, it can be overwhelming for business owners to know what they are eligible for.
"Ask the Accountant is an opportunity for local businesses to find out how to best navigate all of the stimulus offerings and get a breakdown of both the state and federal government initiatives that have been announced," he said.
"This includes measures such as Job Keeper, payroll tax relief, reporting requirements and grants.
The free webinar will be held on Thursday from 10am. To register visit asktheaccountantwebinar.eventbrite.com.au.
Small businesses facing challenges amid COVID-19 restrictions can receive free advice on support options available from the NSW government through a series of new webinars.
Minister for Finance and Small Business Damien Tudehope said the webinars would provide information on the $10,000 small business support grant, cash flow, tax concessions, workplace safety, commercial leases and procurement opportunities.
"The information in these webinars will help business owners make decisions about the steps they should take to get through this challenging time," he said.
"We are featuring speakers from Business Connect, Service NSW, Revenue NSW, SafeWork NSW, Training Services NSW, NSW Small Business Commission, Procurement NSW and the Industry Capability Network."
There is also a series of short videos on how individual small businesses successfully diversified their operations amid the current challenges.
