Orange Family Dental Dr Patrick Rourke said people are able to come into the surgery for any dental procedure.
However, patients will be screened by reception staff before the appointment and dental staff will wear more personal protective equipment.
"We want to ensure that you're not suffering cold and flu like symptoms or have been in contact with a confirmed case," he said.
"We request if you're suffering any symptoms or you've been in contact with a person with coronavirus that you delay your appointment."
Dr Rourke also said constant snacking is detrimental to oral health and it's important to step up oral hygiene to compensate.
"Many people have been snacking more or stress eating as they're either stuck or working from home," he said.
"It's important to brush your teeth at least twice a day with fluoride toothpaste and floss at least once a day."
