In the last seven days, 208 people underwent a COVID-19 swab in Orange, which brings the total number of tests in our city to 1404.
Orange has had the largest number of test conducted of any centre in the Central West, but the news is just as good across the whole region.
No new coronavirus cases have been detected from almost 700 tests conducted during the first week of May.
Data provided by the NSW Government shows 681 tests conducted across the Bathurst, Dubbo, Lithgow, Mudgee and Orange postcodes during this time.
Bathurst had 197 tests to start May, bringing the total for that postcode to 1225.
In Dubbo, 142 tests have been conducted so far this month, with the total for that postcode now at 805.

Less tests have been undertaken in Lithgow which has recorded a total of 549, with 98 of those conducted during the first week of May.
In Mudgee, just 232 coronavirus tests have been conducted, with 36 of them occurring during the first week of May.
By comparison far less tests have been taken at other Central West locations, including: Blayney (101), Cowra (114), Forbes (96), Oberon (98), Parkes (170), Wellington (108) and Young (132).
Statewide, more than 9400 coronavirus tests were conducted in the 24 hours up until 8pm on May 7, with four new cases recorded.
