The halfback sat down with The Central Western Daily for the latest edition of Staying Sane and gave us an insight into how some of his teammates are travelling during this lengthy break, and how he'd react to a season of footy without crowds.
Without further ado:
Age: 26
Position: Halfback
CWD: Who's your all-time favourite sportsperson?
TN: Nigel Vagana
CWD: What's your all-time favourite sports movie?
TN: Dodgeball
CWD: What do you miss more... playing footy or going to the pub?
TN: I miss footy more because with no exercise lately, I'm looking very untidy like Jake Johnston.
CWD: Which of your City teammates is having the hardest time right now without footy?
TN: Josh 'Blocker' Tremain is having the hardest time right now because he can't be around the boys spinning yarns 24/7. Although, he'd probably still be telling them to himself getting ready for his time to shine again.
CWD: Which of your City teammates is having the easiest time right now without footy?
TN: I don't care how he's coping but having Ben Swadling away from everyone is unreal because he's awkward and 'that guy'.
CWD: How are you travelling personally with your fitness/training regime
TN: I'm missing footy and have done a little bit of training but I'm definitely not keen for a second pre-season.
CWD: What are your thoughts on playing a shortened season that will potentially be without crowds?
TN: I'll be more than happy to get the season going again but if there are no crowds or after-match functions then the season to me is just play for a winner and there isn't too much fun around that in my eyes or satisfaction as a winner. That's just my opinion.
