Police are appealing for public assistance after the firearms were taken from a gun safe at a home in Wellington between 8.30pm on Tuesday night and 9am the next morning.
Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District attended the home and established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist forensic police.
As inquiries continue anyone with information, or any motorists who may have been in the area and have relevant CCTV or dash cam vision, are urged to contact Wellington Police on (02) 6840 299 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
