On-site auctions will also be allowed to go ahead following a six-week break.
McCormack Barber real estate director Peter McCormack said he expected about 50 homes to be open.
He said that would be down from normal average of 80 across the city but that was partly due to less homes being for sale at present.
Fitzgerald Estate Agents director Josh Fitzgerald said they would assess properties they had for sale on a "case by case" basis.
"We haven't got anything lined up for the weekend. Not every property that we have is actually [suited] for an open house," he said.
He said eventual buyers often did not attend on the public days.
Mr Fitzgerald said he was concerned it might be too early to re-start open houses as staff would need to monitor social distancing rules.
"We would have to put more people on to control the crowds," he said.
Professionals Orange managing director Pat Cutcliffe said he was seeking clarification on the relaxation of the rules before committing to having open house inspections this weekend.
"The messages are a bit mixed. We would love to have open homes and get some people in," he said.
One Agency Orange director Ash Brown said they would have a mix of public inspections and continue their Armchair Opens video tours of properties.
NSW treasurer Dominic Perrottet said social distancing rules needed to be followed and he urged only genuine buyers to attend.

"If people are not genuinely in the market for a new home, now is not the time to be having a look through their neighbour's house," he said.
