The road closed on Thursday evening due to predicted snow.
On Friday evening following an inspection, Cabonne Council advised social media, adverse weather conditions meant the closure would remain in force.
The road will be inspected again on Monday morning to determine whether it can be reopened.
Saturday's weather is expected to remain windy with showers, with a top temperature of 7 degrees.
Sunday is expected to hit 8 degrees, with sunny conditions following early frost.
