Of the region's 45 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 44 people have now recovered, the most recent of which was in Orange, while one person has died.
Western NSW Local Health District executive director Aboriginal health and wellbeing Brendon Cutmore warned that while there have been no new cases since April 19, the region is not coronavirus free.
He said it was critical that everyone in the region continued to practice social distancing to minimise the risk of the transmission of COVID-19.
From Friday, May 1 virus restrictions were eased in NSW with two visitors now allowed to travel anywhere in the state to visit family and friends at their home.
While some people rejoicing the opportunity to visit friends and family, Bathurst couple Tracey and Glenn Phillips are among those who have decided to wait a little longer.
Meanwhile, across Australia there has been 6753 cases of the virus have been recorded, with fewer than 1100 still considered 'active'.
Nationally, 93 people have died from the virus including 44 in NSW.

Tips from the health district
- Clean your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or an alcohol-based rub
- Cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with tissue or a flexed elbow
- Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms
- Stay home if you are sick
- Keep your distance from others as much as possible through social distancing.
