But are all the clubs on the same page?
One full round? Two complete rounds? A joint competition with Group 11? Allowing some clubs to continue on while others sit out?
Group 3 and Group 2 have cancelled their seasons ... will Group 10 do the same?
All options are on the table on Monday night, when the clubs will meet the Group 10 board, which has proposed a one-round premiership with a finals series to follow, starting on July 18.
Here's all eight of the Group 10 club bosses:
Bathurst St Pat's
GRAHAM WARD: "If there's no crowds allowed, we won't be able to do anything.
"But if we get the go ahead for 500 people, it'll go a long way towards us getting a couple of sides on the park.
"As far as meeting on Monday ... our players are keen to play but different clubs are in different positions.
"It's all an unknown, personally I'd love to see footy back but we'll be guided by what the hierarchy says."
Orange CYMS
DOM MALEY: "There's so many unknowns at the moment. We're just waiting to see what comes from Monday's meeting."
Lithgow Workies
ANTHONY BROWN: "It's a wait and see for us.
"We've got to see if there's any guidelines the NSWRL will impose and big thing is sponsorship.
"Lot's of businesses are struggling. Patronage to grounds is another big one, too and how games are supported.
"It's a big decision to make."
Cowra Magpies
MARC McLEISH: "We maintained that getting footy on the field is our main goal.
"Our concerns is what we're able to do, rather than what we want to do. Like everyone else, sitting and waiting to see what happens."
Panthers
BRETT BENNETT: "One issue is going to be sponsors, who's in and who's not in?
"The potential start date has woken all the players up from their slumber but they were in very, very good nick when we closed down.
"We're pretty lucky we get to play any footy at all, I think. We're ready when need to be.
Mudgee Dragons
SEBASTIAN FLACK: "We're worried about crowds and whether or not NSWRL will chip in for rego.
"We're not going to charge out sponsors full amounts because it's not a full year. Clubs and pubs sponsors we're just going to give it to them for free because they've been supporting us for ages.
"We're pretty good for cash, everyone's been training, everyone's a little bit worried about outbreaks and general safety.
"As the president I'd love to see it go ahead but I know some clubs aren't in the same financial position as us."
Orange Hawks
MARK JOHNSTON: "It'll all come down to the crowd situations. Crowds and then dates.
"We want to make sure we're going to play in front of crowds that aren't going to be restricted. Player-wise, we'll definitely be right to go.
"I think at this stage we'll be saying yes we're right but we've got to make sure the conditions suit our budget and coaches and players."
Blayney Bears
DAMON TAYLOR: "I know plenty of players are more worried about their own businesses than footy right now."
